I safaried!

Hey Guys! We went to Protea for the third time. We went there because the Knifongs and the Huckaby's and we were celebrating. I think you have heard about Protea before, right? It is where I sat on the elephant and held the python. Well, this time they didn't have pythons that were tame. Pretty sad:( Well, I got up on the Elephant again. And this time I went up all alone. It was amazing. When the elephant was standing up from kneeling down, my shoe fell off. I was afraid he would step on it. Her name was Punga. It means Power. God is definately more powerful than she is. And protea also has a pool. If you have never read my blog before, Protea is a safari lodge. The pool was very fun but cold. There is a little wading pool and a big pool. So this big, big antelope called Kudu walked up to the wading pool and decided he wanted a drink (he was as big as a horse!). Seriously!!! So, I was playing in the wading pool and I looked up and there was this humungous Kudu looking right at me. He was at least like 6 feet away from me. So, when he kneeled down, he started drinking out of the wading pool. I would not want to drink out of that pool. No Sir! When the Kudu first decided he wanted a drink, Irene, Tim Hilty's adopted daughter, was getting out of the big pool and there was this humungous Kudu right in her face. She freaked. She is a little bit scared of animals. On the way back, I got to ride with Irene in her car. Just to let you know that Irene is just four years old. And she really likes princesses and strawberry shortcake. So, when we were just getting out of protea, all of the sudden she fell asleep. Her head would sink down, down and down. The she would put it back up again. The she finally woke up and we played Princesses (she was Cinderella and I was Prince Charming!) So, Cindarella had a hose that didn't work and so I had to ask her twenty times "what are you doing?" That is the end of my blog. My dad said I need to be done now. Bye!!!

Hi Kam,

Bumpa here! Yes..... you did Safari. It sounds and looks like you had a great time at Protea. How are you doing as the "BIG" sister in the family?
Has Max come to live at the Allen house as of yet? I know that you are going to be his primary care kid at least to start with. Have you been reading any books on how to care for a dog? I know you will bo great with lots of love and cuddles to give your new friend.

Things are good here in Bellevue. The sun is out and people seem more cheerful with the warmer weather. More snow is perdicted to fall in the mountains this weekend. We are only at about 85% of normal snowfall, so.... a little more is OK in the mountains.

How is your piano playing going? With the best school/piano teacher in the world, I have to believe you are learning some real cool stuff.

It sure was great talking to you the other night. Have a terrific day and know that you are loved bunches.
